About Ney Appam Recipe: A delectable sweet, rice-based seared dish from the south Indian cooking, nei appam infers its name where nei implies ghee and appam implies flapjack and the recipe is actually that. Here the appam is made with a blend of banana, coconut, jaggery and crude drenched rice. An ideal sweet dish to plan on uncommon events and celebrations. 

Elements Of Ney Appam 


1 Cup crude rice 

3/4 cup jaggery 

2 little banana 

1/2 heating pop 

1 tbsp coconut, ground 

1/2 tsp cardamom powder 

ghee/oil 

Step by step instructions to Make Ney Appam 


1.Soak rice in water for 3 hours. 

2.Mix jaggery with water and warmth it up for a couple of moments till the jaggery softens. Strain the syrup keep it aside. 

3.Drain the water from the rice and crush it with the jaggery syrup to a fine glue. Include water if necessary. 

4.Add the banana to the rice and jaggery glue and heartbeat it a few times till the banana is blended well in with the glue and pour the blend in a bowl. 

5.Check for the consistency. It ought to be marginally thicker than the dosa hitter. 

6.Add the cardamom powder and the ground coconut to the hitter and blend well. 

7.Set the hitter aside for in any event 2 hours for aging.
